East coast solution to Stone’s Oaked Arrogant Bastard. Not as Oak’y, 10% alcohol but is not syrup, tastes like a dream. I prefer this over Stone’s, unbelievable.
The first taste of Burton when you haven’t had it in awhile, is striking. Its like when the match first ignites with that burst of flare and leaves something sizzling. Makes each of the subsequent tastes more delicious each time. It is nice to have this delicious oaked (oak-aged) imperial IPA regularly available. Its still special and will run a bit more than $4 per bottle. Not every day but I secretly wish it could be every third or fourth day 🙂 As the celebratory cry is sometimes heard, “BURTON BATON!”.
