Although sometimes this IPA may be overlooked as the fans gather around other wonderful Stone brew varieties, it is absolutely worthy of its own flavor adventure celebration. This bold hop bitter punches your nose and leaves your tongue blanketed in a perfection of bitter at 6.9%abv. The pictured pint glass began as a candle we got at the Stone Brewery gift shop. It is a must visit brewery and with the soon-to-be 48 room boutique hotel, it will become a destination celebrating lifes sweet nectar (circa 2015).

I could not find this post to make this comment earlier tonight, because I only had it titled “IPA” and this should really have been “Stone IPA”. After editing this blog post title I can now add the following pictures and tell you, this is the closest I have been to visiting San Diego in a long, long time. Even after the long hiatus from tasting this brew, it remains exceptional, all these years later.
