Dreaming Tree 2009 North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon

This is one of the products of a collaboration between Dave Matthews and Steve Reeder (of Simi). A delicious cab with plum and currant. Lots of red fruit and a toasty vanilla finish with a well balanced mouth feel. I let it sit open for a while and began tasting some white pepper on the finish. At $13/bottle a steal of a deal for any wine fan, especially the wine + Dave Matthews fan! Dreaming Tree also has a red blend and a Chardonnay, both from CA. To be continued in future posts!
