Pumpkin Imperial Spruce Stout, Rock Art Brewery, Morrisville, VT
I have to say I was intrigued by the sound of a pumpkin spruce stout. To my surprise I did not detect much pumpkin when first tasting this beer. It has more of a honey woody flavor to me and the spruce adds a piney bitterness. It pours a dark brown to black which you would expect from a stout. Interesting..
