Beer Ale Brew Wine Food Review Chat Suggest Discuss

Hop Mountain Pale Ale, Old Dominion Brewing Company, Dover DE

This has a mild to moderate hop on the nose from a frozen pint glass, as I’m again reminded from one of the experts here, “this hop would pop more in a room temperature glass”. There’s a nice note on the bottle that preps you for what you’re about to experience, but I had to go to Beer Advocate in order to tell you it is 5.6% abv. Incidentally, on BA there was a different label for this brew, although it was the same name. From the first sip I got a quick blast of standard hop flavor that bursts away clean, a tasty American Pale Ale that exemplifies the category…and deliciously I might add. Another interesting point about this particular bottle of brew will come from my PC when I can send another photo of the back of the bottle.

HopMountainBackThis was bottled just four days before I had it last night.  It was fresh and yummy right from the source at Fordham Old Dominion Brewing Company, Dover, DE
