Spring IPA Seasonal, Albita Brewing Company, Albita Springs, LA
A mild standard hop nose that ends up a mild floral palate. This probably sounds awful but, it wasn’t. The floral is more mild than the hop on the nose was and lends itself to a hop finish that ends where the nose began. This hops in the garden lighter flavor was some sort of memory trigger for me as at first taste, I was ported to my mothers house during a large enough event where a course of cheese was served. The first flavor reminded me of the cheese and grape plates from big holiday dinners. Don’t let the length of this entry make any more of this refreshing mild standard hop brew, its good to ok, but it took me time traveling…that’s got to be worth something.
