Morin Pere et Fils Pinot Noir 2011, Pays d’Oc, France

This came as part of my spring delivery of wine club wines. I don’t enjoy wine very often so, I feel when a good one is enjoyed it should be noted. One of the tasting experts here disputed my posting this because it was received as part of a club. This wine may not be something easily gotten from your local liquor store. However, this smooth Pinot Noir is worth noting just in case it becomes available at your local shop, its worth getting. The club sends tasting notes, an excerpt of which I’ll add to this post later. Within these notes it describes how Pinot Noir is “THE wine to enjoy with turkey”. You know, this wine would be very good with turkey, even organic tof-urkey if such a thing exists.
