R&R COCONUT IPA, Escondido, CA

20130817-002757.jpg

As Stone says: Besides ‘We’re Not Worthy’, ‘Rest, Relax & Repeat As Needed’…This brew is delightful. It smells like a wonderful IPA, as one would only expect from Stone. It delivers the true IPA hops and malts at first, and finishes with a slight taste of coconut. Any coconut opposers out there should try it and weep as it’s so delicious, and the name is misleading. Yummy!

You are, once again, spot on. Opposers (sp?) should discard the coconut and know that it comes in as a mild aftertaste. It’s worth it, let’s put it this way… I hate the taste of coconut, but the forward hop taste, far outweighs the coconut after-flavor.
