This my Brew Blogging friends is a total departure from my last post from BrewDogs. The nose on this one is hoppy. The color is a more darker golden. First taste hops and sweetness. Not a disgusting sweetness but a sweetness just the same. Finish is smooth hop. I did expect a sweetness when I saw this beer with 9.2 percent ABV… Not many of these needed… Obviously..
Enjoying this now and after reading the notes on cardboard four pack holder, “…more hops & bitterness that any other beer brewed in the UK”, I’m glad I live in the USA. 🙂 Don’t get me wrong Brew Dogs, I like it loads. I enjoy it enough that it certainly puts you squarely on the brewery tour map. But, I’d be lying if I didn’t own up to the fact that I am looking forward to trying some of your more extreme brews. After all, you guys make the worlds strongest beer. And, like us, your first stop when getting off the plane in San Diego is Stone Brewery. Is it possible to get some of your other brews in the states or, am I limited to only three?
