A malty nose and a deep dark red body of color set the tone for this spiced English seasonal that comes in at 7.9% abv with 45 IBUs. I am enjoying this brew now but, I think I might enjoy it more by the fire. I think the name is more of a direction than a title, I like it. A huge improvement over the last 21st Amendment brew I tasted and I heard the opinions of many who disagreed with me about that one. Fireside Chat however, I think we will all be able to agree is a nice malt that would go nicely with a fire. The spice is subtle and adds a mellow to the English ale and helps it go down easy. This is one brew to try this holiday season, your family and friends will thank you for it and request another.
