Seven Tap Tavern, Blue Heron Pines, Galloway, NJ

Here is a surprise venue that has something for everyone (as WineOh!006 proclaimed). Don’t let the name fool you, there are a dozen draft choices at the Seven Tap Tavern and a macro domestic bottle list. Seven is the number worn by former Eagles Quarterback and tavern owner, Ron Jaworski. The craft brew is gradually knocking off the macros that are in rotation, as recently, Dos Equis fell to Tuckahoe Steelmantown Porter. Hip Hip Hooray! I will come back to this place and I hope that there are even more delicious local craft brews on draft. I mean really, do we need Miller light on draft and from the bottle? I think not. The food is pretty good too, reasonably priced and tasty. If I lived in Blue Heron, I’d be here weekly if not nightly. A great place, way to go Ron!

This place is a gold mine. They have live music Thursday and Saturday nights (acoustic, easy listening mix of older and new music) and should begin extended hours for the summer season. Two thumbs up!

The only suggestion for improvement I can offer is to add more seafood and vegetarian/vegan options to the menu. A veggie burger substitute would be a great start!

Founders tap take-over tonight was delicious another great night at Jaworski’s Seven Tap Taven at Blue Heron Pine. Rated 34th of the top 50 golf courses nationally and Seven Tap is a testament to the high rank. This is evident by their initiating Founders to invade their taps…and it was beautiful. I forgot to get a picture of all the tap handles, duh, but they had, Rubeous, Centennial IPA, Dirty Bastard and All Day IPA, a mighty fine selection. It was raining like a mother out, so it probably could have been busier. We missed the guys from Founders, as we didn’t know they were there, should have asked. First Thursday of every month Seven Tap will offer a tap takeover with $20 growler fills.
