Gemini; Super Hopped Ale, Southern Tier Brewing Company, Lakewood, NY
This was a surprise from one BrewBlogger to another and much anticipated. It’s a bit of a disappointment. It’s described on the bottle as a super hopped ale and at $20 for a six pack, was expected to pack a serious hop-enthusiast punch. We were expecting more on the nose and a more complex hop flavor. It’s good, but not impressive and definitely not worth $20. At 9% abv though, it will still be enjoyed.
