Rosabi, Dogfish Head Brewery, Milton, DE

Where do I start.? The color the rose’ color.. Is very noticeable from the pour. Brewed with wasabi they say. In the nose.. A Very laid back smell. First taste 2nd taste 3rd taste will give you a feel of a all clean ale with a spice that hits you in the mouth and not in the throat. Its very nice for all you spicy lovers, but after that you lose the spice and retain the ale flavor and that is it… Unbelievable start and middle but no end. DuffBrew I really think you would like this one. It will light you up and then let you down easy by the end of the bomber, that was my experience anyway. I think I would have preferred to rock out to the wasabi for the whole thing, but they just didn’t want that feel.

It is a unique brew, although I do not see the rose hue; not in sunlight, not in a light bulb’s light…perhaps each bottle is different. Agreed regarding the flavor progression. At first the wasabi essence hits you. It’s the flavor without the spice. After several sips it does disappear, blending into a delicious and unique flavor. Very enjoyable. Thanks Dogfish. A brew to bring to a sushi dinner and more.

This one is all about the nose and transported me to a whole other dinner-time, Wow!
