Superfuzz Blood Orange Pale, Elysian Brewing Company Inc, Seattle, WA

A gift from AbdillHomeBrew, I was so grateful I went and got a six pack. Elysian has done it once again and I am surprised at how much I enjoy a citrus adjunct, as this is usually something I wouldn’t care much for. This varietal begs to differ and I wanted more. Usually blood orange is something I associate with New Years or, near and around there. I would like to try this brew when its fresh and compare it to how we’ve got it right now. My guess is that this is the last gasp for Superfuzz until next year and the fresher the better so, get it as soon as you see it on the shelves. 5.4% abv and an easy drinking and refreshing pale ale flavor that hints at citrus but, leaves the door open. Slainte!

What an awesome label! The blood orange was more pronouned for me the first time I tasted the beer.
