The annual summer trip to Missouri included time to taste the many yummy beers of the midwest. First up is the summer beer you can get back east. It’s made by the largest locally owned brewer in St. Louis. It’s your standard unfiltered wheat beer, pleasant to drink, but won’t make you say wow, I drove 1,100 miles for this. I give it good marks on the cloudiness and the initial aroma of tettnang, surely will drink it again, just won’t be the first summer beer I reach for.
