Threadless IPA, Finch’s Beer Co., Chicago, IL
I attended the Bucks County Blues Festival and one of the rules was you may bring beer with you as long as it was in a can. So this set up a great opportunity for me to assemble a line up of brews from a can that I usually shy away from because I always preferred the tap or the bottle. Well now I will say that cans have been added to the list. Enough of that..how about this brew? The selection is an IPA collaboration from Threadless T-shirts and Finch’s. The result is a extremely hoppy brew with loads of bitterness and citrus notes. It is followed up by a fresh malty finish. A good solid IPA but not for those that cannot handle high IBUs to the tune of a 90 although I would say higher. Overall enjoyable.
