The first impression is, this is a lager. Based on the description of an Altbier, this one nails it with multiple hits on all the right notes. The nose is simple, with slight malts. The color is dark amber/brown. The taste is a bit of an adventure with hints of biscuity, chewy deliciousness followed by a bitter taste and then a smooth finish. It’s very clear up on the light. A nice job done by both breweries. Thanks!
