Oktoberfest, Tun Tavern, Atlantic City, NJ
The 2014 version of this marzen variety is really fantastic. When its this fresh, I realize I forget just how much I like this Oktoberfest brew. Tun Tavern is still the place to beat for craft brew growler fill prices. It seems to this reporter, their brews are getting better, I so hope that this is a continuing trend. Rich orange copper body of color coming in at $12 per fill and 6.0% abv.

Yes let me know. Also, I just learned that Tuckahoe will be opening on English Creek Avenue in EHT with a new Friday Night tasting room. WooHoo! DaBoneMan, you’ll have a place to fill growlers after work 😉

Really hope this works out as I heard earlier and I hope we can soon get some additional flavors from Tuckahoe.
So it sounds like EHT is not a lock and Pleasantville may be on the table. From what i heard, P’ville is a better option, allowing Fri & Sat night tasting room, stay tuned…
So then, Tuckahoe is the place to beat regarding growler fills. The Tun has recently rasied their price again to $16 / refill. There is still a growler card program where every 7th refill is free, but the VIP card does not get you anything off for growler refills. The VIP card is good for $1 off pints and weekday food specials.
