tasted an amazing black IPA from Founders! 🙂
We first tried this at the Big Philly Beer Fest on January 10th, and can now fortunately get it in local liquor stores! It’s a rich, dark IPA with a malty backbone and hints of coffee and chocolate on the finish. The beer fest tasting also yielded a bourbon sweetness on the finish, which I’m not tasting in the bottle version, but it’s still solid. Thank you Founders!

I wonder if at the Big Philly Beer Fest (BPBF) Founders brought a special version of this brew with them? I do not taste any bourbon sweetness like I did at BPBF either. Oh boy what a delicious brew! 100 international bittering units and is 8.9%abv.
