We’ve all had Leinenkugel’s (my first taste of that was in Wisconsin during the summer of 2004, but I digress). Leinie’s makes a tasty shandy, but truth be told it has a sort of artificial lemon taste at the end. Curious Traveler does not. Instead, you take a sip (or gulp) and let the beer go down easy. About five seconds later you get the nice combination of lemon and lime to finish. Now I subscribe to the don’t fruit the beer crowd, but as I sipped this at my local golf course bar, even though the outside temp was below 40, I could picture myself drinking these on the course on the way to finally breaking 90. Well done Traveler Beer Co. Keep up the tradition of quality Vermont brews.
