Dubhe Imperial Black IPA, Uinta Brewing Company, Salt Lake City, UT
Very complex, as if a concert parading over the tongue in the dark of night. Muted coffee notes vex the nose while my palate can’t determine the sweet from the dry, a very enjoyable riddle. 9.2% abv, Utahans cannot get this beer without going to the state run liquor store and even then they can only get a single bottle, an enigma in and of itself. Bravo Uinta!
