Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, Charlotte, NC
We recently visited this brewery and were very impressed. The architecture, the hospitality, the brews and the food were all above par. We were recently visiting family in Salisbury, NC and were brought here on the way to the airport. It’s quite the find! The German style brewery and lodgings feature many brews, German food and an outdoor beer garden. We sampled an Oktoberfest, which was excellent, a Schwartz Bier (limited release) also excellent and a Baltic Porter, which was strong with very dark fruit flavors. We wished we had more time here to enjoy the brews, the food and the company They have an awesome black bean burger!
