A very pretty golden to light amber color that gives off nothing to the nose. A vibrantly effervescent medium-hopped cascade rolls nicely over my tongue. This then gives way to the harvest ale flavor that has become a standard that rings in the fall season at my house. Easy drinking 6.2% abv that gives you a very satisfying crispness to your palate. Look for this one now and consider yourself lucky if you get some.
Earlier in the day I was reminded to blog about this brew when a fellow blogger told me he was headed to Hershey. For me, Hershey equates to the Troegs Brewery and I immediately blurted out, “Hop Knife, get some on tap at the source”. Unfortunately he is unable to visit Troegs this time around. I would really love for as many of us as possible to descend on that place together as a Brew Bloggers event 😊 Its been a long time since we’ve attempted a get-together…Troegs is a great place to go altogether I think. Comment on this if you’d be interested in visiting Troegs together as Brew Bloggers Dot Net.
