Coastal Evacuation Double IPA, Cape May Brewing Company, Cape May, NJ

image

Cape May Brews have been showing up consistently at my local store to my delight! I had the choice between this or my other CM fave Devils Reach. Since I thought I would tone it down this time I grabbed the Coastal. And when I say tone it down I mean the 8.0% abv as opposed to the Devils Reach which dials in at 8.9%. I love when I can get an actual 6 pack of 8% or above beer for 11-12  bucks. Maybe cause its local? Maybe cause they do their own distribution? Whatever it is I like it! So this double IPA was a very drinkable beer with unfiltered, centennial hops embellishing this brew from “start to finish”. Coastal Evacuation helps me “withstand the storm” and tonite I mean my rambunctious children. I may be stocking up on this one for next hurricane season!
