A gift from one of our partners here at Brew Bloggers Dot Net comes this Imperial Red Ale with an interesting can-chapter. The story explains how this beer evolved by accident and describes the flavor profile precisely, when it notes a malt body finishes with a dry bitterness. After I spent this evening as a designated driver to my entourage of incredible women, I figured this 9% abv might help put me to sleep. Although I am enjoying this, if you’re not a red ale fan you won’t want this one. I have gone in the past simply noting the aspects I enjoy and have been criticized for not offering a suggestion appealing to different desirable flavors. If you like the coast to coast American style IPA, this isn’t for you. If you feel the aforementioned American-style IPA tastes like what you would imagine from cat-piss, then you will want to pick up yourself a few of these delicious reds 😋. This was not available at the restaurant shown in the picture, but I remain hopeful that Dock’s Oyster House in Atlantic City, NJ will someday have this one available. Thanks AbdillHomeBrew, good one!
