Flesh & Blood IPA, Dogfish Head, Milton, DE
A surprise for me from my fridge, I mean, my beloved mistress. With the advent of draft craft immediately available to us, I find I’m not the scholar of my local shops beer shelves anymore. I read about this brew coming from the emails I receive from Dogfish Head, but this one was a surprise to me in more ways than one. The body of color is a bit more dark amber than I would have guessed and with the squelched nose resulting from my frozen glass, the citrus is minimal. I am delighted by the bitter flavor this one brings, again with a hint of citrus coming in at 7.5% abv.
