The Shack IPA, Ship Bottom Brewing, Ship Bottom, NJ

This brew is named after the remains of the LBI Shack that was likely the conversation piece of all visiting motorists for decades.

Pictured here from The Philadelphia Inquirer article and is also linked to from this image.

The Shack was one of the Weird New Jersey-isms, where the mourning of this beloved local landmark is softened by this brew.  This brew possesses bright but mild hop flavor that comes in around 6%.

After tasting this brew tonight, I’m ready to go visit Ship Bottom Brewing, who’s with me!?!
