Amontillado Imperial Stout, Ludlam Island Brewery

Bourbon Barrel Stout aged in Jim Beam bourbon barrels for two years. 13 % abv Had the pleasure of tasting this pre-canning with the owner as I had asked him about their Bourbon Barrel brew that I was stalking on their Facebook page from November. He graciously allowed us to sample some and my wonderful wife Heather got me a couple four packs for my 42nd bday. This is the last one. Also got to sample their Big Dirty which I also purchased an imperial IPA all dirtied up. Delish. Amontillado starts off smooth and kicks in with a nice bite in the end. Nutty and smokey notes. Dig the artwork too. Stay healthy my friends!
