Beer Ale Brew Wine Food Review Chat Suggest Discuss

Tropic Tundra, 49th State Brewing Company, Anchorage, AK 99501

Heavenly fruity (if not fruitful) double IPA with 8.1% alcohol by volume and a mere 33 international bitterness unit rating left me thinking, “What is this delightful fruit?”

As I hollered to WineOh!006,

“What is this fruit I’m smelling”,

feeling as though I’ve enjoyed this flavor before and cannot recall, I read the can chapter.

Guava! Of course! Wonderful Hawaiian style aromas and flavors mixed together to create a very palatable brew. One that leaves this reporter wishing he could taste this brew directly from the tap at the source.

As Little Hurt sings, I may just have to move to Alaska so that I can try this one FRESH!

Many thanks to Chris, our unsigned Brew Blogger, for this heavenly liquid. Next up, Thundershuck
