Thundershuck, 49th State Brewing, Anchorage, AK
Very drinkable and delightfully enjoyable high octane stout, available in tall boy cans at 6.2% abv
Here is another excellent entry from 49th State Brewing, the black opaque Thundershuck stout. Two bushels of oysters from Jakolof Bay Oyster Company, harvested from the Kachemak Bay waters in Homer Alaska offer a crisp clean finish. This is one I want to have at the ready during the next winter snow storm event.
I wonder if I could get a sixtel keg delivered to my kegerator this winter? If not, here is one more reason that we all need to get to Alaska for a visit…maybe a full relocation and move. Many thanks to 49th State Brewing, keep up the great brewing Alaska local.
