Very true to the style, this collaboration is enhanced by the nod to the tropical location of Cigar City. It’s a gorgeous amber color and poured with about a 1/2 inch frothy head. There’s not much on the nose, and the fruity first sip will have you craving more. The finish is slightly peppery and a bit creamy at the very end. We don’t get to enjoy many outstanding Maibocks, and wish this one would be added to either brewery’s distribution. It’s also a plus that it’s in a can. Reminiscent of an Octoberfest brew,
Prost!
A flavor adventure I for one would like to be a regularly available occurrence
Prost!
This is my favorite, so far, of the Beer Camp dozen.
