Morning Glory Espresso Stout, Old Dominion Co., Dover, DE

It has a deep coffee nose, a good to proper stout flavor. Extraordinary espresso (bitter coffee) on the finish of the palate. I like it, but at 9%abv, how many can I really enjoy?

Enjoying one of these now and marveling at how remarkable this brew, this stout, really is. An American Stout is typically 5-7% abv, according to the BJBC Style Guidelines.

This stout I hold in my hands now is 9%abv and its delicious, therefore also deadly. I want eggs toast and the sun to rise while finishing this brew. I hope tomorrow I get to sample it from the tap, at the source in Dover DE at Old Dominion Brewing Co.

It was great to meet everyone Saturday afternoon… sorry I had to “bug out” before your tour was complete and we couldn’t talk more about one of my favorite topics, craft beer! Thanks so much for the thoughtful shirt gift, and I’m glad to hear your visit was such a success. Come see us again… Prost!
